Dana Canedy is a senior editor for The New York Times responsible for newsroom recruiting and hiring as well as overseeing diversity initiatives. She has been with The Times for 16 years, previously as a business and finance reporter, a national correspondent and as bureau chief for Florida. A Pulitzer prize winner, she has also been assignment editor for national news.
Dana is also the author of the New York Times best-selling memoir “A Journal for Jordan.”
