Denmark works with private equity firm K1 and their portfolio management teams in the areas of business partnerships, operations and strategy. He advises startups and not for profit organizations. Denmark is a frequent speaker on digital media and has been referenced in social media books such as “Stealing MySpace” and “The Facebook Effect”. He was previously an executive at Viacom, most recently as President of Digital Media at BET Networks. Prior to that he was executive vice president, operations, global digital media for MTV Networks. Prior to joining Viacom Media Networks, he worked at Microsoft in several capacities. He began his career in investment banking with Goldman Sachs and Smith Barney. Denmark is a graduate of the Harvard Business School, where he received his MBA, and of Harvard University where he received a AB in Applied Mathematics.
